Parish Council is group of parishioners who assist the pastor in the overall planning and decision-making for the parish. This body represents the wider parish community and has the task of advising the pastor on important matters of pastoral activity. It makes recommendations about the pastoral priorities and goals for the parish through pastoral planning; it serves as a vehicle of dialogue and communication among the pastor, the parish staff, the various commissions and organizations and the parish membership. After a period of discernment, candidates serve a three year term as Pastoral Council members.
The Finance Committee is a group of advisors, appointed by the pastor, who assist Pastoral Council and the pastor by reviewing the annual budget and the official financial reports. This committee also reviews procedures of accounting, handling of income and disbursements and proposals for stewardship education. Finally, it advises on the feasibility of proposed capital expenditures
